Vitae

Rainer Puntke looks back at many years of experience in the IT-branch and other branches of industry.

The foundation for his success was laid after his studies of electrotechnic, by his years (1973-1990) of working in research and teaching at the FH-Münster in the areas of central data processing and digital technics.  

In recognition of his achievements at the university, R.P. was awarded the Leo Brand Prize by the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ortung und Navigation" (German Association for Orientation an Navigation) in 1973.

There his analytical way of thinking, his wealth of ideas, his successoriented way of acting, as well as his natural talent of graphic teaching of the most complex facts were already appreciated.

During that time he additionally proved himself in his interface function as coordinator of many cooperation projects between scientific research and practical realisation in many leading companies. In the scope of his tasks he worked on international level as a technical expert in different Middle East countries.

From 1990-1994 Rainer Puntke was the technical manager of SER systemhouse and as such highly appreciated especially for his cooperative style of communication.

In that he was, among other things, responsible for the conception an realisation of innovative and customer specific special applications.

After that he worked in a multination team at the Ernst Klett AG till 1997, there he was responsible for the development of strategic software products.

From 1997-1998 he worked as an IT-Consultant for the IBS AG Zurich (CH).

Until May 2003 R.P. worked for the LHS GmbH (now: Schlumberger Sema) on an international level.

Here he was able to contribute to the solution of the most complex problems in very critical phases of major projects by his extreme flexibility, his high endurance and his innovative way of working.

From 2003-2006 he worked as IT - Consultant in the range Internet/Intranet search technologies (Brisbane/FAST ) for the Contraco Consulting software Ltd. .

11.2006 - 03.2007 working on behalf of LHS for GLOBUL in Sofia (Bulgaria) in the onside production support for BSCS iX (CX/CMX).

03.2007 - 08.2007 working on behalf of LHS for COSMOTE in Athens (Greece). Here he planned and developed in the context of a migration project a tool for the extraction of BSCS customer data for the delivery to the CRM system (Siebel) up to production-ready.

08.2007 - 10.2007 working for the LHS Release Support Center in Frankfurt (Germany).

01.2008 - 05.2008 working on behalf of LHS for COSMOTE in Athens (Greece) and working on an extension of the CRM project.

07.2008 - 08.2008 working on behalf of LHS R & D in Frankfurt (Germany) in the GMD development team.

It provides API in order to include clients in billing- service for customer administration.
